Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert was born January 27 in 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist, and an ex-official of the government. Heather served as Spokesperson of the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is an think-tank for conservatives.



 



 Prior to her work at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. From March to October 2018, Nauert served as the acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
